Landmark Plaque Unveiling
Join us as we gather to unveil a bronze plaque celebrating the historic landmark status of the Friends Meeting House and Friends Seminary at 15 Rutherford Place. The plaque was bestowed upon us by the New York Landmarks Preservation Foundation, and it will give passersby a sense of the Quaker values and history the building represents. Refreshments will be served following the plaque unveiling. The original report by the Landmarks Preservation Commission from 1969 can be found here.
