Davines and Beautimport are excited to invite you to our "Become a Land Keeper" tree planting event, in collaboration with the Malta Ranger Unit. This event is part of our ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability and conservation and builds on the Ocean Keeper clean up we organised here in August 2024.In 2025 we celebrate 50 years of Beautimport Limited, and it is our aim to plant at least 50 trees and shrubs to mark the occasion.
Event Details:
Date and Time: Join us on Sunday, 26th October 2025, from 10:00am to 12:30pm.

What to Expect: Our goal is to plant native greenery (trees and shrubs) to make this popular recreational area even more attractive. This is an opportunity to give back to our planet and our community, and enjoy the beauty of our environment.
Why Participate?
Make a Difference: native trees and shrubs provide a refuge for wildlife, prevent soil erosion and capture lots of carbon from the atmosphere. Once the trees mature they will provide plenty of welcome shade. We will also collect any litter we may come across during our planting activities; increasing the impact of this activity and also protecting our oceans.
Community Engagement: Connect with like-minded individuals who care about the environment.
Receive a Goody Bag: As a token of our appreciation, all participants will receive a Davines goody bag.
What to Bring:
Reusable Bottle or Cup: We will have refreshments available, so please bring a reusable bottle or cup to reduce waste. We won't have any spare cups / bottles, it's important to bring your own.
Comfortable Clothing and Footwear: Dress appropriately for tree planting, including sturdy shoes, a wide brimmed hat and sun screen.
Support and Collaboration:
This event is organised with the support of the Malta Ranger Unit (VO/2443), who are dedicated to preserving the natural beauty of our local areas. The Malta Ranger Unit will provide the necessary tools —gloves, shovels, etc.— and ensure that any trees and shrubs planted are watered regularly to help their survival. The Rangers will also take care of planting any remaining trees and shrubs that we do not manage to plant during the event window.
