Land Arts Session

Cuban-American artist Ana Mendieta created work that focused on the interconnectivity between the matter of the Earth and the matter of her own body. Often using blood, mud, fire, and water, Mendieta created works that grafted human body parts, often her own, onto the Earth. During this session, participants will create performance or sculptural works of their own on the land using natural materials.
