Lancashire Day is a county day celebrated annually on November 27th to commemorate the 1295 date when the first elected representatives from Lancashire were called to attend King Edward I's Model Parliament. Celebrations include the public reading of the Lancashire Day Proclamation by town criers and a midnight toast to the Duke of Lancaster, which is the reigning monarch. The day is a celebration of Lancashire's identity, culture, and history, marked by pride in its "Red Rose" and loyalty to the Duke of Lancaster. We have organised a Lancashire Day Celebration.
