Our lamrim summer retreat on the "stages of the path to enlightenment is held every August at AKBC. The lamrim is a special condensation of all of Buddha’s teachings and through engaging on this retreat we develop and increase our inner wisdom. Arranged in the sequence in which they are to be realized, these meditations guide practitioners along the path by developing their inner peace, compassion and wisdom.
By developing an understanding and familiarity with these meditations, we will enjoy a special experience of peace and fulfillment that comes from a spiritually meaningful life. Ultimately Lamrim meditations will give rise to a complete transformation of our mind through the power of wisdom and compassion.
Each session will consist of a teaching, time for individual reading and contemplation and a guided meditation and question and answer. Day by day we will progress through the stages of the path from realizing our precious human life to the developing the wisdom of superior seeing. Everyone welcome, regardless of background or experience. Come to one session, or come to them all.
Retreat Fees for full retreat:
Members: Free. Livestream options available
Non-Members: $50 or $20 a day.
