This small Workshop delivered by Lucy’s Lovely Lampshades is an engaging, hands-on experience where you can learn how to make your own unique 30 cm drum shade for a lamp or ceiling light. You will learn about various fabrics, patterns, and frames, you will be guided through each step, from measuring and cutting fabric to attaching it to the frame and securing it in place, you will gain expert insights to ensure a neat and professional finish.
By the end of the workshop, you'll have your very own handmade lampshade, ready to add a personalized touch to any room in your home. Plus, you’ll leave with the skills and confidence to create more lampshades on your own in the future!
You may have your own fabric to use so bring that along on the day. It will need to be 110 cm wide by at least 30cm length, This fabric needs to be medium weight fabric ( the kind you would use for curtains or cushions or other soft furnishings, not stretchy and not natural silk.
If you don’t have your own fabric no worries at all, for an extra charge of £5 at the workshop there will be a selection to choose from on the day.
