About the workshop:
Open to complete beginners to intermediate level, come along to M4KE Craft Shop in Launceston to create your own lampshade for your own project or as a gift.
Make a 30 - 40 cm diameter drum lampshade for ceiling or lamp during a 60 - 90 minute workshop. Workshops take place with up to 6 people; join as an individual or as a group. 1-1 slots also available.

Feel free to bring your own fabric along if you have something specific in mind. A selection of fabrics are available.

About your host:
Annette Baskerville-Smith is an accomplished lampshade maker who works with local crafters and fabric artists. Her lampshades are handmade in Launceston, Cornwall and available worldwide. Her expertise extends to the development of a tool to assist lampshade makers in their craft to make it this art form more accessible.
Accessibilty:
Workshops take place in M4KE craft shop (during opening hours) on the ground floor. There is a kerb to the pavement outside.
Parking is available at the Pannier Market short stay car park across the road from the venue (Postcode PL15 7BA) which includes acessible parking bays (public WC available). Carpark is 10m-20m.
