This event is for families, volunteers, early years and health professionals providing perinatal support, and anyone with an interest in infant feeding – it is also CPD accredited.

Dr Chris van Tulleken, ‘Overdiagnosis and Industry Influence: Public engagement with, by and against the global formula industry’. Chris is a practicing infectious disease doctor in the NHS and associate professor at University College London, where his research focuses on how corporations affect human health, especially in the context of nutrition. He works closely with UNICEF and the World Health Organization on infant nutrition. As one of the UK’s leading science broadcasters he has won two BAFTAs for his long-running CBBC series Operation Ouch.
Emma Pickett, ‘Supporting breastfeeding beyond 6 months'. Emma has volunteered with the Association of Breastfeeding Mothers for 16 years and supported Haringey for 15 years. She became an IBCLC IN 2011. She is author of 3 books, and currently writing her fourth about supporting parents to end breastfeeding.
Kathryn Stagg, ‘Supporting Breastfeeding Multiples’. Kathryn is a twin Mum, lactation consultant and founder of Breastfeeding Twins and Triplets UK Facebook group and charity.
Rachel Bailey, 'Breastfeeding is not always easy but it's always worth it – I believed I could, so I did: A mother’s experience of breastfeeding while undergoing cancer treatment’. Rachel is a breastfeeding advocate and Mum from South London to a 2 year old.
A delicious lunch will be provided by Healthy Living Platform, a local community food organisation who enable families to eat healthily, socialise and be physically active.
