Ry’el, an international Brazilian Zouk and Lambada instructor now based in Colorado Springs, is on a mission to spread the love for this beautiful dance throughout Colorado and New Mexico. With his signature joy, energy, and expertise, he’s bringing the essence of this growing Brazilian dance to communities close to his heart — and Durango is one of them!
🚂 Jump aboard the LAMBAZOUK Express in Durango and become part of the first wave of Lambazouk dancers on the Western Slope!
Join a small but passionate group of dancers who will continue practicing weekly on Mondays in an open práctica setting — reviewing and deepening what’s learned during the weekend.

Learn to dance through three unique alphabets and eight foundational words — a creative framework that will have you crafting your own dancing poems in no time!
