LAMBADA HEAT with Gilson and Maïlys
Boston, the summer is around the corner and it’s a great time to turn on the LAMBADA HEAT, with a LEGEND himself, a pioneer in Lambada’s history, movement and evolution - Maestro Gilson Damasco (Brazil/Netherlands) and his beautiful and very talented partner Maïlys Arbaoui Westphal (France).
Gilson Damasco’s contribution to promoting Lambada worldwide is immense and his commitment to come back to help us again in Boston is simply an honor!! Let’s dive in deep into the history of Lambada and Brazilian Zouk and learn about its evolution from the man that witnessed and contributed to it all. Let us show up to give and get some Lamba love with Gilson and Mailys and keep the LAMBADA HEAT going this summer!!
Our special guest instructors, joining our artist lineup, are amazing Kuna Malik Hamad and talented Lydia Engle!! Kuna found a new passion in Lambada the recent years and he and Lydia are very excited to share their passion for Lambada with us, in Boston!!!!
We will provide 8 hours of instruction, including Lambada and BZouk evolution history education, practica time, 6+ hours of indoor and outdoor social dancing experience/ day and night parties, with our very own, DJ JEM!!
