About this Event
Limestone cedar glades are globally unique and fragile habitats found primarily in Middle Tennessee. Viewed historically as wastelands, they support a plant community of highly specialized species, many of which are found nowhere else in the world.
Join staff from TennGreen and Tennessee State Natural Areas for an easy ~2.5-mile stroll through Lamar Cedar Glades to learn about some of these unique plants and experience a few rare wildflowers in bloom. Please wear closed-toed shoes, bring water, and consider wearing bug spray. No dogs are allowed at this event.
Specific address details will be emailed upon registration.
Free for TennGreen , $10 for non-members.
