About this Event
The inaugural Lakewood Community Block Party aims to create an event IN our community, FOR our community, and BY our community so that we can showcase the talent, love and care we truly have for one another in Atlanta! The event is expected to take place on Saturday June 10, 2023 at the Rosel Fann Recreation Center 365 Cleveland Ave SE Atlanta, GA 30354 . It is our mission to support, promote, and highlight the positive actions and gifts of those in the Lakewood area, with an emphasis on community involvement. This community-based event will also connect residents, local business owners, government officials, and community representatives alike, old and new, because relationships matter and will encourage us to take better care of our neighborhood.
There will be food trucks, local merchandise vendors, community booths, live performances, DJ, a sustainability station in partnership with AGlanta where you can take home your own plant, FREE STD checks with the Department of Public Health, and so much more!
