LGF is a free outdoor music festival set at the Historic Como Lakeside Pavilion for 2022, a lakefront arts oasis in the heart of St. Paul. The festival is run by community-conscious musicians focused on highlighting a diverse lineup of local and international artists, encouraging new artistic collaboration, and highlighting the world class music and business community of Minnesota.
Lakeside Guitar Festival 2022 is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
Coordinated by Molly Maher and Todd Clouser, Lakeside Guitar Festival, St. Paul’s outdoor music festival with a six-string slant, announces our 2022 series featuring a lineup of local and international artists and community activities. LGF will take place at St. Paul’s Como Lakeside Pavilion and be set out over three stages and two days.
This year’s event will include vendors (on 8/13 only) that make up the Twin Cities art and music community coordinated by Third Daughter Restless Daughter.
The Dock and Paddle Cafe at Como Lakeside Pavilion festival site offers a full-service cafe, beer and wine, the opportunity to explore beautiful Lake Como on a kayak or paddle boat, and walking trails.
Lowertown Guitar Festival History
LGF was founded in 2013 with major backing by McNally-Smith College of Music and support from the City of St. Paul, St. Paul Cultural STAR and Lowertown Future Fund. With over 80 International and local artists spanning all genres, LGF continues to celebrate and support the vibrant Twin Cities arts scene.
