Invited Guests
Two Voices in the Crowd: Kathy’s enchanting voice complements Matthew’s thoughtful guitar-playing and vocals as this special duo presents songs of love, hope and caring for place.
Chris Cady and Russ Redford: Chris’s blues guitar and distinctive vocal style combine with Russ’s unique harmonica playing to create an exciting musical mix.
Loosey Goosey: Enjoy traditional English folk songs with Carole Garland and Andrew Lang, presented in a warm, musically harmonious style.
Clyde Street Band: John, Rosalie, Gail, Trish and Peter are the Clyde Street Band, bringing their usual flair and musicality to a range of musical genres.
Joint Effort: Jake and Jade are now a trio who, along with new member Joel, are making an impression on the local folk scene, with a combination of traditional folk songs and thoughtful, contemporary originals.
Kevin Sweeney and Company: Kevin is joined by his son James, along with Meg (vocals) and Matthew (harmonica) to surprise and delight us with new arrangements, especially put together for this Folk Circle Concert.
Intermission: In true Lakeside Folk Circle fashion, afternoon tea will be served along with a chance to catch up with old (and new) friends. A plate to share would be appreciated. Feel free to bring your own mug.
Note: There is air-conditioning in the Hall. Wear layers so you can mix ‘n’ match and enjoy this wonderful concert in comfort.
