You are invited to Join Central Florida RECON (CFR) at the Lake Lily Park cleanup in Maitland, Florida. This public park offers public restrooms, a playground and a paved walking path around Lake Lily.You do not have to own your own vessel to join us, there is plenty of green space around the lake to walk with a trash grabber and a bucket. We have six kayaks to share on a first to arrive, first to launch basis.
You will be asked to sign a Cleanup Event Sign In and Indemnity Waiver upon arrival.
The event is scheduled for two hours. At the end we will combine all of our trash, weigh it and take a group photo with the CFR banner.
If rain or heavy wind is in the forecast for the day of the cleanup, please check this event page on Friday night for updates.
Bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, sturdy shoes to walk on uneven ground, water to keep hydrated and a friend.
