Join us for our Lake Erie Shipwreck Seminar, an informative and captivating evening presented by Jeremy Bannister and Kevin Magee. Together, they will guide you through the remarkable underwater history resting just offshore, sharing expert insights and the stories behind some of Lake Erie’s most notable and well-preserved shipwrecks.
The program will also highlight what it takes to become a shipwreck diver, including the specialized training, equipment, and collaborative skills required for this unique area of exploration. In addition, you’ll learn about our PASST initiative (Pennsylvania Archaeological Shipwreck Survey Team) and how Jeremy’s advanced photogrammetry work is producing highly detailed 3D models that document and preserve these submerged historic sites.
Whether you are an active diver, a student of maritime history, or simply interested in the heritage beneath our waters, this event promises an engaging and educational experience.
