Lake County Dance for Life
Your Next Move Dance Studio is excited to announce Lake County Dance for Life in celebration of Sweetest Day. Come join us for an evening of uplifting entertainment that promises to bring joy to both audience members and participants alike. Lisa DiNardo, the owner of Your Next Move Dance Studio in Eastlake, is honored to host this inaugural event on Thursday, October 17,2024, from 5-9pm.
This event will be held in the main ballroom at the American Croatian Lodge located at 34900 Lakeshore Blvd in Eastlake. Two ticket options are available for advance purchase only, priced per person as follows: Dinner/show only - $35, Dinner/pre-registered dance competitors - $55. Tickets will be available for purchase on Eventbrite
Cash Bar will also be available.
Award plaques will be given for multiple categories including novice, intermediate and advanced levels. Participants can be self-taught or professional. Dance skits must be limited to two minutes. Residents from outside of Lake County are welcome to participate. For those without experience or in need of choreography assistance, Your Next Move Dance Studio will offer special lessons at an introductory rate to prepare for this exciting evening, catering to individuals from novice to advanced levels.
Attendees can look forward to a delectable dessert bar. Businesses will be showcasing their sweet treats, including but not limited to, gluten and sugar free delights. Local bakeries interested in donating should contact Lisa directly.
Elected officials and business owners are invited to participate in the event or act as celebrity judges for the competition. One of the celebrity judges is Lake County Treasurer Michael Zuren, who expressed, “Lisa has been extremely involved in the local community, and this is just another fantastic event, celebrating life and highlighting local dance enthusiasts.” Another celebrity judge, Lake County Commissioner John Plecnik, added, “On behalf of Lake County, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Lisa DiNardo and Your Next Move Dance Studio for organizing this incredible community event.”

Our annual events will benefit local recovery homes, homeless shelters, safe homes, and similar organizations, reflecting that you are loved and valuable. A portion of this year’s proceeds will benefit a local pregnancy center. Lisa’s motto is: Love Laugh Dance Repeat
