Okay, since the weather has been so agreeable lately, we might as well take advantage of it and go for a ride! It's looking like we might actually have a sunny day on the ride day!Last time we had such a great time on the Berryessa Lake ride that we're going to do it again! We will start with a nice breakfast up in Winters, where we will likely be picking up more riders. Then Mark will lead us on a fantastic ride. Afterwards, we'll have a post-ride barbecue at Mark's shop! This is a ride not to be missed! If you were there last time, you know what I'm talking about!
* 2-stroke bikes not mandatory. For some, it's kind of a haul to get to the ride. If you choose to bring your 4T bike, that's okay- bring whatever you need, whatever you have. Last time, I took my Harley (it was the only bike I had available at the time). There were a few dual sport/adventure bikes on the ride too.
9:00a We will meet up at Mark's shop in Suisun City (PM me for address), where we'll gather the first group of riders and say our salutations. Also a good chance to address small gremlins that might be plaguing your equipment, and take a potty break.
10:00a KSU- and we're off to Winters through the backroads, where we'll muster with other riders for breakfast at the Putah Creek Cafe.
After breakfast, we'll do some twisties and open backroads around the Lake area, visiting the Glory Hole spillway/dam and the world famous Turtle Rock Bar and Cafe, where you can get your eggrolls and a drink.
3:00p (estimated) To conclude our ride, we'll light the BBQ back at Mark's shop for food and refreshments, and ooh and aah at all the wonderful machines in his "collection". The post-ride festivities will be somewhat of a potluck, so pitching in is encouraged.
