Highlighting the Swan Lake Act II performance, the ballet will feature the graceful movements of the dancers accompanied by the elegance of Tchaikovsky’s timeless score. The second act of Swan Lake tells a beautiful, poignant story of love and transformation. Special guest artist Michael Rodriguez will be joining the production to add his talent and expertise to the performance. The second part of the program will feature the
beloved Peter and the Wolf, a storybook ballet that introduces young audiences to classical music and ballet. The Lake Charles Symphony conductor, Dr. William Rose, will narrate this performance.
"This event is a perfect opportunity for families to experience the magic of ballet, music, and storytelling all in one unforgettable evening," said Artistic Director Colleen Cannon Benoit. "Whether you're a lifelong ballet enthusiast or attending your first performance, there’s something for everyone to enjoy." This family-friendly event is a must-see, and seats are expected to sell out quickly.
