About this Event
"Jesus Christ did not say, 'Go into all the world and tell the world that it is quite right.'" - C.S. Lewis, God in the Dock.
Christianity offers a distinct vision for the world. We can agree with our neighbours on many things, but if the faith that we hold leads to us thinking and living the same way as everyone else - especially on the big issues of our day - we may have missed the point.
Join us for Laidlaw’s Winter Sessions Ngā Korero o Takurua one day conference and hear from key speakers across the Laidlaw College faculty. Explore how we as Christians can think well and respond to the current issues we face in Aotearoa.
Explore with us how Christian institutions & communities are changing, the role of the church amongst geopolitical challenges, conspiracy theories and how to know what to believe, personal identity and reconciliation in Aotearoa.
