Laid Back Country Picker plays good country music and treats everybody right. He
has played and recorded with Grammy winners. He has performed at the fabled
Ryman Auditorium, Bonnaroo and at Red Rocks. His show combines 70s country
music, classic guitar rock and hillbilly sensibility. Rejecting the modern for the
surreal, Laid Back and Honey deliver a unique musical experience. He is often
compared to the White Stripes and was recently declared Johnny Knoxville’s new
favorite band.
LB served as a mentor to a young Tyler Childers, who now has Laid Back signed on his Hickman
Holler label. Mr. Childers has made several films with LB and included him in his
music videos, as well as having him open a CD release show in New York City and
open his sets at the Ryman Auditorium and Red Rocks Amphitheater.
Luna and the Mountain Jets
Luna and the Mountain Jets is an Appalachian rock band. Husband and wife team
Teresa and David Prince deliver a guitar driven sound paired with homespun lyrics
that could rest comfortably in the folk genre. When performing as a duo, the
shows are often intimate glimpses into Teresa’s rural upbringing. In full band
mode, they can rock as hard as any of their 70s heroes. Teresa recently joined
Tyler Childers onstage at the Ryman Auditorium to sing her song “That Thing You
Said”, which Tyler occasionally covers. She also appears on Tyler’s album “Can I
Take My Hounds to Heaven”, singing Jubilee. A Luna show is always a moving
experience as she finds a way to connect with every member of the audience.
