LaFollette Park is receiving 13 trees as part of a grant given by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources to Milwaukee County Parks. Friends of LaFollette Park is excited to welcome these trees to their new home!Join us to help get these new trees in the ground! All ages are welcome!
Please wear a pair of sturdy work gloves, a pair of closed-toe shoes and dress appropriately for the event and for the weather. Unless there's a thunderstorm, we'll be planting rain or shine! All other tools will be provided.
Scout troops and other volunteer groups are welcome to help out!
If you're a teacher, this is a great opportunity to teach your students about trees and their role in an ecosystem. We'd love to see you and your students at the planting!
