Following the Harrodsburg Rd unveiling, attendees will be encouraged to drive to Transylvania University (another 15 minutes) to witness the third and final marker unveiling, concluding this whirlwind day. The marker has received the institutional endorsement of the leadership of Transylvania University, which has approved the installation of the monument on its university grounds. The monument will be installed at 2 pm near Graham Cottage Alumni House at 469 North Broadway. The ceremony will focus on analyzing the language used by President Rev. Horace Holley when he welcomed Lafayette at the university.The event is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
