It's finally time for SPACE CAMP, future Supernovas and Solar Flares! Lets all strap on some skates, learn some rules and try something new!We require no experience! We have plenty of loaner gear for you all to use. We require a mouth guard and we highly encourage a helmet! We do have temporary helmets, but for safety reasons we suggest getting a brand new one asap!
This is one of two boot camp events: in case this does not work with your schedule we have another starting session on March 9th. Come to one or both if you like! These 2 session kick off our 10 week derby training program where you learn all the basics!
At our first sessions will be going over skating basics/skills and we will be talking about what derby is! We are currently recruiting skaters, refs and non-skating officials of all genders, so there are plenty of ways to get in on the action.
Must be 18+ to skate. Please make sure to bring a sport appropriate mouth guard, sport shoes and water. We encourage everyone to bring a new helmet. We ask that everyone register using the link below:
