From the get-go, I make no apologies that our target audience tonight are our very young citizens, especially the Millennials and Gen Z. The script, contents and itinerary are specifically designed for this demographic.
It is adult materials (which some parents may find hard to discuss with their adult children, teens or minors). This tour will take us through the Geylang Red-Light District, complete with all that you want to ask about this red-light district and sex. You must come with an open mind, otherwise this tour may not suit you.
It is a good idea that you come with your BF or BFF. So please come with some friends you are comfortable with. This is not an academic walk with a sympathetic approach. It is more like a hard-core look into the sex industry and sex tourism, and together, we’ll explore why Singapore has chosen to let Geylang flourish as a red-light district. Indeed, Geylang Lorong 18 at the moment is bursting with colors!
