Time to get the girls together for the famous STILLWATER LADIES FISHING COMPETITION!The girls to get the fish while the blokes stand back. This year we are fishing later in the season to make it a bit sportier and changed how snapper are entered, so have a read of the rules!
Fishing starts at 5AM Saturday the 22 March, and you must be in line at the weigh in by 5pm. Rain date 29th March.
All the usual categories will be entered by weight. We are limiting weighed snapper to under 600mm, and snapper over 600mm will be in a separate length category encouraging catch and release. We will email a number out at the start of the comp that must be in your pictures. Just bring your phone and present your best fish to the weighmaster for entering.
Entries $55 including a souvenir T shirt. Tickets available at the club or online. And don’t forget your fancy dress for the prize giving! Dress up to the nines, or come as a theme!
Categories are Snapper under 600mm, and over 600mm, Kahawai, Trevally, John Dory, Kingfish and Gurnard. Average snapper categories and heaps of spot prizes.
