Odense Salsaforenings Ladies' Day: Workshops & LunchIn celebration of International Womens Day, join Odense Salsaforening's female teachers for a day filled with workshops to empower you on and off the dancefloor.
Each workshop is pitched as open level so everyone can try everything and the skills you learn can be transferred across dance styles. Included in the day is an opportunity to get to know the fellow ladies of Odense Salsaforening over a cozy lunch. :-)
10:00-10:30 Warm up/Intention, Starts & Finishes (Nic)
We focus on the details that can turn you into a siren on the dancefloor. Regardless of your preferred dancestyle, these details can move you from looking and feeling like a timid little mouse to a full on fox. Tips not only for the dancefloor! ;-)
10:30-11:15 Head Movements (Freja)
With technique based in zouk, Freja guides us through head movements that can also be used in other dance styles.
11:15-11:30 Pause
11:30-12:15 Salsa Shoulders & Hips (Gry)
Spice up your dancing with saucy shoulder and hot hip movements.
12:15-13:00 Bachata Mini Choreo (Julia)
Julia will guide us through a mini bachata choreo where you can practice flowing from move to move without a partner in your way. ;-)
13:00-14:00 Lunch
Pre-order your sandwich or salad during the sign-up process and it'll be waiting for you in the break.
14:00-14:45 Empowered Ladies (Heidi)
This non-genre specific ladies' choreography class is all about embracing your power and confidence. We'll work through an easy choreography and explore how to radiate confidence through movement and styling.
15:00 Go home and get ready for the party!
Price: 245kr including lunch, snacks, tea and coffee.
