Ladies Basic Shooting Class Sarver, Pa This is a basic shooting class taking place on private land in Sarver PA on
January 17th, 18th, & 19th instructed by
Tori Branum. This is a one day 2.75 hour event. You chose the time and date. This will be our 15th event in Sarver and we have now trained over 1300 women in the local area to use a firearm.

The REFRESHER IS ONLY FOR THOSE THAT HAVE ALREADY TAKEN TORI’S BASIC SHOOTING CLASS IN THE PAST. The Refresher is more firing and advanced skill work. For the Refresher please bring a box of ammo for your fire arm or if you are using ours please bring a box of .22 lr.
You do not have to have a gun to take the class, you can use in house training guns. You do not have to have your weapons carry license to take the class! We can guide you on where and how to obtain one.
This class is designed for someone that has never held a gun or someone that wants to become more familiar. This class is also good for an intermediate or expert shooter who wants to work on the marksmanship!
In the beginning of the Basic class, there is a safety brief that Is specially designed for women!
Here you will learn about loading, unloading, and clearing a jam on your firearm.
We will also go into the fundamentals of marksmanship.
The class is geared towards making you an expert shooter (if you continue to work on it) as well as providing you with enough knowledge that you do not have to ask for help operating a firearm!
This event will be held on private land outdoors in Sarver, Pa. hosted by
Sylvia Maxwell at her farm.
If we encounter inclement weather such as rain, heavy snow, high winds the class may be rescheduled to the next session.
There are no refunds.
Wear layers. Dress warm.
Comfortable outdoor shoes.
The classes do fill up fast and are first come, first serve! You do have to pay upfront to snag your spot!
Instruction facilitated by Tori Branum a female Marine Veteran. Tori leads marksman and safety classes for women throughout South Georgia and was a primary marksmanship instructor in the Marine Corp.
The cost is:
$150.00 for Basic Shooting
$75.00 for the Refresher Class
No refunds.
Class include targets and hearing protection. You only hold a spot once you make payment.
You will be asked to bring your own ammo if you are bringing your own firearm. If you are using our training gun then ammo is provided. Also if you are bringing a revolver and have never used it, please take note that we don’t recommend it for the class because the trigger pull is heavy and you may not get the same experience as you would with a semi auto. However that does not mean you cannot bring it or train with it.
FOR THE REFRESHER If you are bringing your own gun please bring 4 magazines and ammo for it.
If you are using our training gun please bring a box of 22lr.
(Tori will verify that you have taken her Basics before you can sign up for the Refresher)
To sign up for class you will be sent invoice and you will pay on there. Payment secures your registration.
