About this Event
Lacto-fermentation has re-emerged due to the health benefits from eating fermented foods. Used for preserving foods and beverages for thousands of years, lacto-fermentation enhances the flavor of vegetables and fruits. Learn how easy it is to make your own fermented foods from the bounty of your garden, or your favorite foods from the Ashland Co-op. This is a hands-on interactive class, and all attendees will leave with their own jar of vegetables to take home to ferment.
