The Tempest tells the story of Prospero who has been exiled and forced onto a magical Island. He was the Duke of Milan but he was betrayed by his sister Antonia and sent out to sea in a boat to a far off Island where he lives with his daughter Miranda. When Antonia and her colleagues are sailing past Prospero’s island he sends a vile storm their way to sink their ship and separate the crew. As the shipwrecked nobles find their way to the island chaos and confusion ensues. Murder plots, star-crossed lovers, and sweet revenge. The Tempest is a witty show that showcases the magic of nature and the importance of forgiveness.
