If you’ve dipped your toes into the beautiful craft of bobbin lace and are ready to build your confidence our Next Steps Lace Making Day is the perfect opportunity to grow your skills in a relaxed supportive environment.
This class is ideal for those who are not complete beginners—perhaps you’ve done a taster session or started a basic piece—but would like to refresh your knowledge and gently progress.
What to Expect:
You’ll spend the day working on a simple but satisfying lace project reinforcing key techniques and learning how to follow patterns with more independence. There’s plenty of time for one-on-one guidance questions and a bit of chat over a cuppa too. Included will be a plastic sleeve and tassel.
What to Bring:
- Your lace making cushion
- Bobbins
- Thread
- Pins
- Scissors or snips
- Notebook for tips and sketches
Tea/coffee will be provided and there’s a lunch break – feel free to bring your own or pop out to one of the nearby cafés.
Whether you’re brushing up after a break or just want to slow down and sew with like-minded people we’d love to welcome you.
