This intensive hands-on workshop is for aspiring stylists, salon professionals, and beauty entrepreneurs ready to master wig-making, customizing, and installation. You’ll also learn where and how to source quality wigs and hair, so you can confidently service clients or start your own wig business.

Hour 1 – Wig Foundations

• Types of wigs: lace front, closure, U-part, full lace
• Measuring the head for proper fit
• Tools & supplies overview
• Where to buy quality wigs & bundles (vendors, wholesalers, online & in-person suppliers)

Hour 2 – Wig Construction

• Sewing machine vs. hand-sewn methods
• Track placement for a natural look
• Securing wefts on wig caps

Hour 3 – Customization Basics

• Bleaching knots & tinting lace
• Plucking hairline for realism
• Adjusting density for a natural flow

Hour 4 – Cutting & Styling Wigs

• Layering & shaping techniques
• Curling, straightening & crimping styles
• Product recommendations & heat safety

Hour 5 – Wig Installation

• Preparing natural hair (braid-down prep)
• Adhesive vs. glueless installs
• Melting lace for an invisible finish

Hour 6 – Business & Marketing

• How & where to buy wigs & hair in bulk for profit
• Pricing your wig services & products
• Building a portfolio & attracting clients

• Supplies: Wig-making kits not included. A supply list will be provided upon registration.
• Certification: Certificate of Completion awarded after completing online modules (hybrid course)
