Our Fall/Winter Contact Improvisation + Somatics season features jams and classes for movers of all levels!This season includes opportunities to participate in 6-week, 10-week, or 12-week series, or drop-in as you are able. Events are on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights starting 9/15.

CI Fundamentals Workshop with Len Foyle ~ Our classic 2.5 hour Fundamentals class is the perfect introduction to the form and our program, or a great way to re-engage with the essentials. Sunday, 9/7 at 410 West Geer St., Durham.
Summer CI Intensive at Dreaming Stone ~ A residential retreat! CI classes taught by CJ O’Reilly and Toni Craige. Delicious meals, jams, and swimming in the river~ yummy late summer fun! Thursday-Sunday, 9/11-9/14.
Open Movement Jams with the LAC Team + friends ~ We will continue the magic of our Summer Jams, collaborating with musicians and friends of the LAC to create a space for open movement improvisation. Mondays, 7-9pm, 9/15-12/15.
Special Topics in CI: Letting Water Guide the Dance with emily liptow + friends ~ We will connect with the felt-experience of water in our bodies, working with the rich metaphors and imagery that water offers. Tuesdays, 7-9pm, 9/16-10/21.
Movement Research: Explorations in Mutuality with emily liptow + Anna Maynard ~ We will draw from the intelligence of our connective tissue–a mycelial network between muscle, bone, and tendon, and explore its presence in community structure integral to our movements. Tuesdays, 7-9pm, 10/4-12/16.
What if…? with Ray Schwartz ~ We will explore the poetics of touch, the intelligence of gravity, and the expression that emerges when we trust the unknown. This is a ten week series for experienced practitioners. Wednesdays, 7-9pm, 10/8-12/17.
Beginner-Friendly CI Class and Simple Jam with Len Foyle + Emma Little ~ We will lean into the fundamental skills and techniques of CI before moving into a jam each week. Sign up for a 6-week series - either the class + jam or just the jam - or drop-in to the class and/or jam if you'd like. Thursdays, 6-8:30pm, 9/18-12/18.
