Casa Karma Retreat Center in Conchas Chinas will be the surfside location of a labyrinth walk with acoustic guitar music, this coming Monday. Christ Church by the Sea is sponsoring this event. Due to limited parking, Uber is the best means of transport. Also note the labyrinth is 100 steps down the hillside; the elevator is under repair and not available.
Each participant is asked to wear white or light colored breathable clothing. Please bring a bag of beans to donate to Vallarta Cares. Water will be provided.
The Casa Karma labyrinth is a nearly identical replica of a medieval labyrinth found inside Chartres Cathedral in France. Labyrinths are a pre-Christian way to calm our bodies and offer our prayers to the Divine power. They are enjoying a worldwide renaissance in environments from schools to prisons to corporate business parks.
