Expertech Automotive Training and Consulting is offering an intensive two-day, hands-on training program designed to enhance the diagnostic skills of automotive technicians using a labscope. This course is ideal for both entry-level technicians new to diagnostics and experienced professionals looking to refine their labscope expertise.Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of fundamental principles, proper setup, and effective operation of a labscope. The training will focus on waveform analysis and key diagnostic techniques to improve accuracy and efficiency. A special emphasis will be placed on current ramping—an advanced method that significantly accelerates diagnostics by providing deeper insights into vehicle issues.
Additionally, attendees will learn a practical five-minute compression testing technique, particularly useful for engines with limited spark plug access, such as those in Ford vans. This hands-on training is designed to equip technicians with the skills needed to diagnose complex issues with greater precision and confidence.
There will be scopes available for demonstration but it is recommended to bring your own scopes, amp clamps, chargers and accessories to learn with your own equipment.
