Get ready for a printmaking party! Join us over Labor Day weekend and create a relief print from start to finish! You will have the option to bring your own woodcut or linoleum block, carving tools, and paper (for a reduced price), or you can sign up, show up, and we will get you ready to go! What to expect:
* A fun printmaking marathon with other artists
* An opportunity to make new friends and hang out with a thriving artistic community of supportive, kind, creative folks
* Plate carving, inking, and printing til you drop! We will go morning to evening. This Labor Day weekend, it's all printmaking, all the time!
What to bring:
* Snacks and water. There are many local restaurants with delicious options right on Main Street, or you can bring your own food in. (No inking up plates, printing, and eating at the same time though! Ingesting ink is to be avoided).
* (If you are providing your own materials): Substrate (woodblock or linoleum block), drawing materials, carving tools, paper ready to print.
* (If Stone Branch is supplying materials for you): Bring yourself.
