Gather with us for this day of visibility at the memorial bridge in Augusta Maine between 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. In an effort to enhance visibility and numbers we are organizing this protest on Labor Day, taking place on the sidewalks of the memorial bridge.
Past rallies in Augusta have faced challenges, we believe that this bridge protest will allow us greater visibility. We invite everyone to join us! Let's fill the bridge and more!
PARKING:: The easiest walk to the bridge will be from State Street, Higgins Street and Capitol Street. There are fewer hills and it is a shorter walk to the bridge from that side. Additional parking at the east side boat landing playground under the bridge and the old hospital parking lot on arsenal Street is available for parking.
