Let us introduce you to an eco-friendly and healthier way of lightening the hair. We will cover all things blonde in this course using OWAY. Learn how to select the correct tone and shade for each unique client (with demonstrations on warm and cool tones) while maintaining hair integrity throughout the clients lightening journey. In addition to this we will share salon friendly techniques to help you get the most out of every service, everyday.

INTENDED AUDIENCE:
All stylists and apprentices already working with OWAY wanting to upskill their blonding knowledge.
SKILLS ACQUIRED:
-In-depth knowledge of all the Oway technical products.
-How to optimise Oway lightening ranges.
-Understanding the art of consultation and skin tone analysis.
WHAT TO BRING:
-Brushes
-Combs
-Clips
-Hairdryer
-Heat tools (if desired)
-Choose a suitable model for one of the following services 1) full head application and tone (shoulder length max), 2) half head balayage or 3)1/4 to 1/2 head foils and tone. At our venue, we will take appropriate steps to support the social distancing of all attendees and staff.
COVID-19 cleaning and sanitising | Our event venue is regularly deep-cleaned in accordance with state COVID-19 safety requirements. At the event, our team will regularly clean and sanitise all event areas for the comfort and safety of guests. We will also ensure safety for attendees by ensuring staff wear face masks, washing hands regularly throughout the event and wearing gloves. At the event, there will be hand-sanitising stations available to all guests and staff.
Contact tracing | In accordance with state guidelines, we will collect patron information from all attendees and staff for contact tracing in case we need to follow up. We will collect your name, home suburb, and contact information (email and phone number) before you can enter the event venue. We will collect your information: During the ticket purchase process via our online booking system. At the venue, by asking you to scan a covid safe QR code at the event check-in point as a condition of entry. At the venue, by asking you to complete a COVID safe check-in process online as a condition of entry. Your information is stored securely and is not accessed or shared with any third party, except where public health authorities may request it.
