As the Los Angeles wildfire crisis rages on, The Hideaway Room has announced a benefit show to raise funds and bring their community together in support of the city amid one of its darkest moments. All proceeds from the upcoming event will be donated to American Red Cross LA and a number of local fire departments, delivering vital resources to the frontlines of disaster relief.
24 people have died so far, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, and evacuation orders are in effect for 105,000 residents. The coastal Palisades Fire, the largest and most devastating blaze of a cluster of ongoing wildfires, is now "one of the most destructive natural disasters in the history of Los Angeles," according to Los Angeles Fire Chief Kristin Crowley.
