San Dimas and La Verne Chambers of Commerce join forces for the Teacher of the Year Award CelebrationLa Verne & San Dimas, Calif., January 1, 2025 – The La Verne and San Dimas Chambers of Commerce are proud to announce the inaugural Teacher of the Year Awards, a collaborative celebration recognizing the outstanding contributions of educators in our communities. This marks the first time both cities have joined together to honor teachers who make a profound impact on our students, families, and the local community.
The event will take place on Tuesday, May 6, 2024, at the Bonita Center for the Arts, beginning with a mocktail hour at 3:30 p.m., followed by the program at 4:30 p.m.
The evening will include a special ceremony to showcase the dedication, innovation, and hard work of teachers who go above and beyond to inspire and empower their students. Award recipients are selected by their respective schools based on specific criteria established at each site.
The Teacher of the Year Awards will be a memorable evening celebrating the passion, commitment, and lasting influence of exceptional educators. Teachers from La Verne and San Dimas will be honored for their ability to inspire their students, colleagues, and the broader community. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, recipients will receive trophies, certificates of recognition from local leaders, and recognition baskets.
