About this Event
The LA River Boys are an eminent up-and-coming string band from Southern California that blend bluegrass, old-time, country, folk, Dawg (David Grisman) and Grateful Dead influences to deliver a dynamic mix of material. Their sound is rooted in traditional picking and singing with a bent for exploratory improvisation that illuminates every corner of a tune, and leaves the audience and band alike guessing what’s next.
Over the last couple of years, the LA River Boys have toured throughout the West Coast and have made multiple festival appearances across California, including Father’s Day Bluegrass Festival, Huck Finn Jubilee and Topanga Banjo Fiddle Contest. They are very excited to embark on their Summer 2024 tour, including their first performance at The Back Room!
Tickets are $20 general admission. Children under 12 are free. Advance tickets are available here, or if the show is not sold out, you may purchase your tickets at the door before the show.
