Please join us for La Raza Lawyers Association of Solano (LRLAS)'s 21st Annual High School Scholarship Awards Dinner. This year, our distinguished Keynote Speaker is the Honorable Kelly Trujillo, newly appointed Solano County Superior Court Judge. We are excited for Judge Trujillo to join the Solano County Bench and are looking forward to having her as our Keynote.
Each year, LRLAS recognizes our scholarship recipients who are Solano County public school seniors of Latino/Hispanic ancestry going onto higher education. The scholarships are awarded based on academic performance, promise of achievement, community service/work experience and financial need. The scholarship program is designed to provide our professional encouragement and public recognition to high school seniors of Latino/Hispanic heritage entering higher education. The scholarship is awarded irrespective of immigration status.
In the past 24 years, with the help of the Solano County Bench and Bar and community members, the Association has awarded approximately 116 individual scholarships, amounting to $74,000.00. This year, with your help we plan to award multiple scholarships of $1,000.00 each.
