About this Event

Strong Words, the favorite "Storytelling for Grown-Ups" show of Silver Lake and Atwater Village, recently toasted 13 years and 100 shows with an epic outdoor event at the Autry Museum.

This marks the popular salon’s fifth appearance at LA Made, and the Strong Words crew promises a delightful Sunday afternoon for Angelenos to bask in the air-conditioned splendor of the magnificent Mark Taper Auditorium while soaking up fun and refreshing stories, poetry, and music.

It’s a 90-minute celebration of Summer you won’t soon forget. "Voices of the City" for this performance include Roy Cruz, Jimmy Walsh Doyle, Marlene Nichols, Brett Paesel, Lynne Thompson, and special musical guest Jason Luckett.

This event is free, and while reservations are not required, they are highly encouraged.
