Join us for a night of fundraising with volunteers from the La Crosse Jail Ministry, as we help them raise funds for their organization! They will be working in our dining room clearing tables from 4:00pm to 9:00pm. They will receive 10% of all sales ( dine-in, carryout, and delivery) during that timeframe as well as 100% of all cash tips given!" The mission of La Crosse Jail Ministry offers residents and former residents of the jail spiritual direction, rehabilitative support, and connections to faith communities.
Our ministry recruits, trains, and organizes volunteers to provide services, video visits and studies in the jail. The ministry recruits, trains and organizes mentors for our Circles of Support program.
Our ministry also provides a chaplain, materials, and services necessary to meet the needs of residents. Our budget provides for the following:
Chaplain’s position
Communication needs such as stamped envelopes
Comfort items such as reading glasses, and haircuts
Bus tokens and clothes upon release
Spiritual material for all faiths
Library materials including books, magazines, and puzzles
Cards and games
