La Cañada Flintridge to SylmarRIDE DESCRIPTION:
This ride clings to the foothills and gives you some hefty of climbing beginning in La Cañada Flintridge and passing through Crescenta Highlands, Sunland-Tujunga, Lakeview Terrace, Sylmar and Pacoima. We're going to climb Kagel Canyon then ride between a pair of cemeteries. Next comes the steep part: The Lopez Wall, a 3/8ths mile long climb that varies between 12 and 17%. We'll then descend Lopez Canyon and climb Pacoima Canyon. On the way back, we'll ride along the Hansen Dam Bike Path and then climb good old La Tuna Canyon and Hospital Hill.
