In this 5-day on-camera program, campers will have the unique opportunity to work with Award-Winning L.A. Casting Director, Lisa London on on-camera acting and auditioning skills.
To round out our students’ education, campers will also work with other industry professionals throughout the week!
In the very challenging year of 2020, Lisa and her office, London/Stroud Casting, cast 7 films that went into production. These included THE INHERITANCE which filmed in Georgia, BASEMENT which filmed on Long Island, OLD HENRY which filmed in Nashville, CANYON DEL MUERTO which filmed in New Mexico, STATE OF CONSCIOUSNESS, EDDIE AND SUNNY and LOVE ON THE ROCK which filmed overseas in Italy and Malta, respectively. Lisa and her partner, Catherine Stroud cast actors from all over the USA, and even the world for these different movies.
Some of Lisa’s other credits include: Adam Sandler's Netflix film, SANDY WEXLER; EAT WHEATIES; SWITCHED; FREAKS starring Emile Hirsch and Bruce Dern; BABYSPLITTERS, HANNAH MONTANA, SUPAH NINJAS, SUITE LIFE OF ZACK AND CODY, HOUSE BUNNY and much more! She is the author of the book, FROM START TO STARDOM (The Casting Directors Guide For Aspiring Actors) which takes readers on a step-by-step journey, laying out what it takes for actors to have the best shot at success!
Impressively, Lisa London gave the following actors their big break in Hollywood: Emma Stone, Jonah Hill, Yara Shahidi, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Mark Ruffalo, Giovanni Ribisi, Adrian R. Mante and Adam Irigoyen, to name a few.
Focus of Lisa’s On-Camera Camp:
- Actors will perform a mock audition for Lisa and learn how to prepare for auditions
- Actors will be paired up with “co-stars” and will begin to dissect and analyze their scenes
- Actors will gain invaluable feedback and training from Lisa London throughout the week
- Lisa will direct actors’ scenes
Due to COVID-19, we will either be filming our final showcase and sending a video link to loved ones after camp wraps, or we will livestream it. Students will showcase their scenes and the new on-camera skills they learned throughout the week.
Lisa will also use improvisation, an important skill to have both on-set and in auditions. She will run fun exercises that keep actors’ minds sharp, focused and keep the creative juices flowing.
Not only will students get to work with Lisa London, they’ll also work with another amazing industry pro!

This workshop is a learning experience. It is not an audition and there is no promise of employment. In line with Casting Society of America Guidelines, Lisa will not be taking home your resume or any other promotional materials.
