You're invited to Commonwealth Concert Opera's production of "La bohème!" "La bohème" is one of Puccini’s most beloved creations. This beautiful opera follows the stories of six Parisian friends as they explore love and life as best they can in the time that they have together. Rodolfo and friends happily share a small apartment they can barely afford. Their neighbor, Mimi, has loved Rodolfo from afar and, finally unable to wait any longer to meet him, takes a chance and introduces herself. What follows is a love story for the ages accompanied by gloriously romantic music.
Performances are May 3rd & 4th at 7:30 PM and May 5th at 3 PM at Westminster Presbyterian Church on Monument Ave, running approximately an hour and a half. A suggested donation of $10, $5 for students, is requested at the door.
We hope to see you there!

Commonwealth Concert Opera is a Richmond-based opera company that produces concert performances of well-known operatic works. However, we do it differently - we keep it casual! We use lively narration to streamline performances and engage our audience. We also produce “CCO Unleashed," an art song series that highlights a variety of songs in different languages. Our hope is to share our passion and love for this art form with the greater Richmond Metro area. Please join us to hear fantastic local singers perform some exciting repertoire!
