You are cordially invited to a very special edition of "La belle epoque comes to Vilnius: The hidden treasures of Vilnius old town".ABOUT THE EVENT. In the summer of 2022 we started the tradition of celebrating „La belle epoque“ time period in various places of Lithuania and Poland. We visited Palanga (LT), Trakai (LT), Panemunė castle near Jurbarkas (LT) and Dowspuda (PL). The 5th edition will break the tradition a bit and will be held during autumn, instead of summer or winter.
This time we will travel to the capital of Lithuania – Vilnius. During Saturday we will explore the hidden treasures of Vilnius old town by searching for the lost mansions of Vilnius and learning their stories. In the evening we will have a soiree in one of the cosiest hotels in Vilnius - Shakespeare Boutique Hotel. The hotel will also be our accomodation for the weekend. It has beautiful rooms, furnished in historical styles, that are dedicated for various historical figures, such as Jane Austen, Oscar Wilde, Queen Victoria, William Shakespeare, Winston Churchill and much more.
Traditionally, arrivals will be on Friday afternoon. We will have meet-and-greet at the bar of the hotel and a dinner later in the evening. Later in the night – traditional historical pyjamas party. On Saturday we will explore some old mansions of Vilnius that today serves for different purposes. And in the evening we will have a cosy soiree with dinner, historical dances and a birthday cake of this fair lady, that turns 30 that weekend. On Sunday – more explorations and activities in the old town and a visit to archives. Departures on Sunday afternoon or evening. Or we can stay until Monday, if you wish. Give me your thoughts on this.
TICKETS AND REGISTRATION.
‼️ Early-bird ticket - 105 Eur ‼️ The price is valid until 1st of July. After this date, regular ticket price will be 120 Eur.

After registration you will get a verification email with payment instructions.
This year the ticket will only cover the cost of Saturday soiree! (venue, dinner, some drinks and activities during evening). The price won‘t include accommodation, breakfast, lunch and other meals (exept dinner during soiree), travel expenses, mansion tickets, and other acctivities etc. You will have to pay for everything on spot. I‘ll inform you about the prices as soon as all details will be finalised.
This year there will be only 15 tickets. That’s not a lot of spots, so don't think too long and inform me personally if you have plans to participate. It's ok if we haven't met yet or don't know each other - I love meeting new people with the same passion for historical costuming!
DRESS CODE. Guests are welcome to wear any clothing from La belle epoque period (1871–1914). During weekend we will have various activities, so you can arrange your wardrobe according to them. Or you can simply wear one and the same outfit all weekend. You do you. But please try to be as historicaly accurate as possible, meaning, ladies don't forget your corsets, avoid modern hairstyles, no excessive modern make-up, etc.
DATE OF THE EVENT. 8-10th of November, 2024. Arrivals on Friday afternoon. Departures on Sunday afternoon/evening.

Our venue for the soiree this time will be dinning hall in the amazing Shakespear Boutique hotel (http://www.shakespeare.lt/). Idealy, I'd recommend booking your accomodation there too. But I perfectly understant if this might be out of budget for you, so feel free to choose any other accomodation that is suitable for you. There are plenty of other hotels and B&Bs nearby.
All nationalities, ethnicities and genders are welcome. Except dogs and children. I would kindly ask you to leave the latter at home 🙂
