L-YES Paint, Design & Art Fundamentals Class (Intro)

NURTURE YOUR CREATIVITY

Nurture your creative spirit in this class, inspired by stained glass design to create works of art of personal meaning. Students will learn a little about stained glass and how line, shape, color, and symbolism can be used to communicate in the same way.

Use different mixed media (such as collage, mosaics and painting) to create stories to make your art come alive. The perfect class for non-artists, the focus will be on design principles and self-expression.

If you want to relax with therapeutic art processes, notch up your art journaling, improve your eye for design, or just have some fun with colors and shapes in a supportive and encouraging environment, this class is the choice.

You'll be amazed at what you're capable of once you let your creativity and inner artist out to play!

Rage Room Smashing

All classes include a Rage Room Experience. Students are encouraged to write, draw or doodle an image of what makes them happy or sad on the dinnerware provided. In a symbolic gesture, the item is smashed to pieces, representing happiness multiplied or riddance of ill feelings.

The Fine Print:

•Closed toe shoes required. Glass or hot solder + feet = ouch! Long pants preferred for smashing activities.

• Participants sign a Personal Injury Waiver and an Intellectual Property Waiver to attend class. Please read Waiver before your event. There will be a copy for you to sign in person at the event. Adults must sign on behalf of minor participants.

• Rescheduling or cancelations are only accepted up to 48 hours before the event date. No refunds will be made for part or all of the class value after the cancelation deadline. Please email us at [email protected], and we will be happy to assist you in canceling or rescheduling. There is a $10 reschedule fee per person.
