Naarm (Melbourne)-based producer, bass player, and composer L Lewis introduces his debut EP, "Gravity Waves".
Drawing from an eclectic mix of synthesisers and jazz harmony, L Lewis embarks on a sonic exploration characterised by free jazz, layered production, and rhythmic modular and arpeggiated pulses. On the night L Lewis will perform music from "Gravity Waves" with musicians Lochlan Thompson (Saxophone and flute) Finn Milne (Keys) and Jordan Dunster (Drums).
Mike Gurrieri (Mystic Brew PBS) will open the night with a DJ set.
